We lovingly refer to her as our canine kitty cat. In the house, she typically disappears, and when you go to look for her, you find that she has picked a spot and curled up. If you want to cuddle with her, all you have to do is ask, and she’ll be right beside you, snuggled up on the couch or in bed. She’s a sweet little girl and loves carrying around toys in the house with the cutest little woofs! The field is a totally different story… this girl has heart, and it showed this winter when we were busting through snowdrifts thigh high and climbing some snowdrifts that were upwards of 10 feet tall! She never quit and hunted hard all day.
Quest has a very strong pointing and backing instinct, with style for miles! The longer she’s on point, the higher she holds her head and tail. She has always been a super steady dog, even as a young puppy! Even before she ran her NAVHDA Natural Ability test, she was holding her point until shot without formal whoa training! She should be a fun one to steady up for Master’s this year! She is a nice retriever and proved this on multiple cripple bird retrieves this fall.
Quest is a sweet girl with a softer personality. She is extremely natural and exceedingly trainable. She’s easy peasy in the house and sweet as pie with other dogs, puppies, and our son! This girl is special, and we expect great things out of her and her puppies for years to come.
