Onsite Training

We require the dogs to be at least 6 months old when they start training and we recommend they stay for 3-4 months depending on your goals. We take a limited number of dogs in for training at a time to be able to maintain an extremely high level of standard for the dogs in our care. Training includes food, training sessions, boarding and birds.

If you are considering sending your dog to us for training and would like to see our kennel, please schedule an appointment.  We would be happy to show you our facility and meet you and your dog.

Our facility is climate controlled, which means we heat it in the winter and cool it in the summer.  We have an indoor only facility where the dogs are let out to socialize and potty every 2-3 hours in an exercise area. This keeps our kennel clean, maintains your house training and keeps both the dogs and us happy!

Feel free to contact us for a list of references if you are planning on sending your dog for training and would like to hear what other people have to say about us and what their experiences have been with Standing Stone Kennels!

“I highly recommend Standing Stone Kennels. Zeus, my GSP, came from Ethan and Kat. He’s been nothing but great in the field and training. Also, his personality is great. He was 2 when my wife and I adopted our two boys. My oldest was terrified of dogs. Before my boys Zeus was never around small children. Well, when I introduced them to each other Zeus acted like the biggest baby and was so gentle. Fast forward, and my oldest son and him are a heck of a team. I plan on getting my boys their own dog in a couple of years and it will come from Standing Stone Kennels.”
