“Puppy Shock”
This singleton puppy has really grown up and isn’t a puppy anymore! She did so many big dog things this year from tracking like a pro (she got it from her momma) and being super steady on birds (she got it from her daddy) to showing us her true versatility. This girl is great in the water, retrieves all day long, tracks with focus and points with intensity and style.
We really love seeing how two dogs that we love, Muddy and Shooter, came together to produce such a great combination of a dog. And we were so lucky to have her too, since she was completely unexpected. If you don’t know her shocking birth story, here it is: Muddy was bred to Shooter, we did an ultrasound to confirm pregnancy at 28 days (like we always do) and the vet said she was open (not pregnant). So we continued training and running Muddy like normal (of course we were disappointed, but that’s nature sometimes). Lo and behold 63 days from her breeding to Shooter, Muddy gave birth to this unexpected little puppy, who we immediately knew we just had to keep! From that day on she has continued to put smiles on our faces with her momma’s lovable personality and daddy’s build and style!
Lucky to have this not-so-little girl and we look forward to constantly being surprised by her full of potential future!
