Her style and intensity on point is off the charts!
She has Natural Bird Sense and has hunted huns, sharptails and pheasants in North Dakota, pheasants and prairie grouse in South Dakota, pheasants and quail in Kansas and now she is down in Texas on more quail!
She was early to mature and has so much natural steadiness that she developed quickly and was able to start guiding at the El Tesoro Ranch steady to wing, shot and fall this season!
Plus she loves to retrieve!
Where did she get all these amazing bird dog characteristics you may be asking?
Well… she got it from her momma! Annnddd…. She got it from her daddy!
Tailor is a Lilly x Vex pup. Not sure if we need to say more, but some of you may not know of Lilly, a dog owned by Robert Ellison, who flew through her AKC Master Hunter Testing and is a NAVHDA Utility Prize 1 dog headed to the NAVHDA Invitational! Vex, her daddy, was a one in a million dog, he was the complete package and will be difficult to replace. Vex was also an AKC Master Hunter and NAVHDA Utility Prize 1 dog who was headed to the NAVHDA Invitational. Someday we hope to produce a dog as damn near perfect as he was. Maybe a pup out of Tailor one day?
Tailor will be running through her NAVHDA Utility Test down at the El Tesoro Ranch this spring and then moving on to AKC Masters later this year!
