Veil is everything we expected to get out of a line breeding on Vex. Drive, desire and a true knack for finding birds. She has the power we hoped for and the bird finding ability of her daddy. It was always so impressive how Vex just seemed to know where the wild birds would be, and as a young dog down at El Tesoro, Veil is outhunting and finding more birds than most of the seasoned dogs that have hunted wild quail for years! Veil also has a lot of her momma, Trix, in her. She is steady to a fault, backs with as much style as she points, and always wants to be with you! She is definitely a velcro dog and prefers to be next to you hanging out on the couch or following you around the house from room to room!
Not only is she good at what she does and makes her job look effortless she does it with poise and style! She is one beautiful bird dog and we know she will not only add her good looks, but all of her other exceptional traits to her puppies!
She has hunted prairie grouse in South Dakota, wild pheasants in South Dakota, both preserve and wild quail in Texas. She is prepping to run through the NAVHDA Utility Test this spring and then will move on to focusing on her AKC Master Hunter Tests.
